Detailed Instructions

πŸ“ Step 1: Attach to Your Putter Grip Attach Smittle Stick to grip
  1. Hold your putter in one hand
  2. Take the Smittle Stick and locate the flat side
  3. Place the flat side directly against your putter grip
  4. Position it so the orange ball points away from you (down the shaft)
  5. The device should sit comfortably on top of your grip
πŸ’‘ TIP: Make sure the flat side is flush against the grip for accurate feedback.

  3. Stretch the band behind your putter grip
  4. Secure it around the opposite aiming point

  2. Check that the Smittle Stick is aligned with your putter shaft
  3. The orange ball should point directly down the shaft line

  5. Once aligned, you're ready to putt
πŸ’‘ TIP: Take a practice stroke without a ball first to make sure the device feels comfortable and doesn't interfere with your grip.
β›³ Step 4: Make Your Stroke & ObserveΒ

  1. Address your ball as you normally would
  2. Make your normal putting stroke
  3. Don't change anything - putt naturally
  4. Watch the orange ball during and after your stroke

Reading the Feedback:

βœ… STABLE FACE (GOOD)

What you see: The orange ball stays aligned with the putter shaft throughout the stroke

What it means: Your putter face is staying stable - you have good face control and minimal twisting. This leads to consistent direction and distance control.

⚠️ BALL MOVES LEFT (FACE CLOSES)

What you see: The orange ball moves to the left and comes out of line with the shaft

What it means: Your putter face is closing (rotating/twisting left) during the stroke.

⚠️ BALL MOVES RIGHT (FACE OPENS)

What you see: The orange ball moves to the right and comes out of line with the shaft

What it means: Your putter face is opening (rotating/twisting right) during the stroke.
